The Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) offers Master of Social Work (MSW) course of duration 2 years. Master of Social Work (MSW) Duration 2 years Eligibility- Any bachelor’s degree from recognized University with an aggregate of 50% of marks for Part I, II & III put together Relaxation in Marks in the Qualifying Exam: SEBC and OEC candidates will be given a relaxation of 3% and 5% respectively in the prescribed minimum marks. SC/ST applicants need only a pass in the Qualifying Exam Weightage: Weightage of marks for proficiency in NCC/NSS etc. and bonus marks for Ex-Servicemen applicants and widows and children of Jawans/ Ex-Servicemen will be given as per the existing rules of admission Reservation for candidates with outstanding records in sports and games shall be allowed as per rules. 3% of the seats under Merit quota are reserved for physically challenged candidates Selection Process Admission to the programme is based on a common admission test which is mandatory for all candidates. Admission will be based on the marks secured in the entrance test only The entrance test is of one hour duration consisting of 50 objective type multiple choice questions each of which carries four choices Each correct response will be awarded one mark and there will be no negative marks.
