The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts a Junior Engineer (JE) exam to recruit eligible candidates for the posts of Junior Engineers Group B Non-Gazetted in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quality and Quantity Assurance in Central Government departments. Candidates who qualify the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be called for the descriptive test. Final selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Computer based Written Examination (Tier-I) and Descriptive Paper (Tier-II). Allotment of candidates to the different (user) departments will be made on the basis of merit.
