I want to know the services and the facilities offered in National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR) so can you tell me?

The National Institute of Construction Management and Research is a non profit management institute and research centre in the field of construction engineering and management.

The Institute has been recognized by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India

It is headquartered at Walchand Centre, Tardeo, Mumbai, India. Main campus being at Pune, Maharashtra.

Services and Facilities

Classrooms

All classrooms are air conditioned and well equipped with LCD projector, computer system with internet.

Library –

Each campus is equipped with a library. The Pune Campus Library is the central library designed to support the students, faculty & research scholars.
It is a specialized library in the area of Construction Management, Project Management, Real Estate Management & Infrastructure Development.

Computer lab-

Each computer lab is air conditioned. Computers in the computer labs are of the latest technology with leading construction business related application packages like Microsoft Project Management, Primavera (P6), BIM, Candy for Project Management and BRIX for contract management and SPSS, QE Pro for Data Analysis & Estimation and leading ERP packages like Microsoft Dynamics .

Conference Halls

Auditorium

NICMAR Pune campus is having an auditorium with 300 seating capacity.

Indoor Convocation Theatre(ICT)

NICMAR Pune campus is having a beautiful Indoor Convocation Theatre(ICT), where all the academic events, programmes, cultural programmes are conducted.

Student's Hostel

Pune campus currently has four hostels, which together provide 904 single occupancy rooms for boys and 194 shared occupancy for girl students.

Executive Hostel

Pune campus has an executive hostel with 30 single occupancy rooms, bath attached for the Executive trainers. Each room is well equipped with internet facility, TV and AC.

Dining Facility

The mess facilities are run by the contractor hired by NICMAR under the supervision of the Manager, Premises and Services (P & S). The manager, according to the suggestion of Students’ Co-coordinator, prepares menu on weekly basis

In Door & Out Door Sports

Well-equipped facilities for indoor games such as Carom boards, TT tables, Chess boards, Gym, Music room, Common T.V. room are provided to the students. Outdoor sports facilities such as Football ground, Volleyball court, Badminton court are also provided.

Internet Facility

Internet browsing service for 24 / 7 hours is provided to students at all campuses. Each student is provided with the Institute’s e-mail ID for academic communications. The campus at Pune is completely Wi-Fi with high speed internet connection.
