The Directorate of Vigilance functions under the overall supervision and control of Chief Secretary, who is also Chief Vigilance Officer for the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Directorate is headed by the Director (Vigilance), who is also ex-officio Joint Commissioner of Police Anti Corruption Branch.
