Here are some of the details that can help you to take the examinations of the MHT CET exam-

Eligibility to take the exam –

For the MHTCET Exam 2014 you should have at least of 50% marks in bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized College/ university in the country.

The papers pattern of the exam is like this –

MHT CET exam comprises of the following 4 sections:
Mathematics
Physics
Chemistry
Biology

Paper I- Physics & Chemistry (50 Marks each ).
Paper II- Biology (Botany & Zoology - 50 Marks each ).
PAPER III- Mathematics (100 Marks).

The directorate of medical education in the state of Maharashtra conducts the exam of MHT CET.

This is an entrance examination that is held annually for the selection to undergraduate medical degree courses in all Government, Government aided Health Science institutions and Private Medical Health Science Colleges in the state.

Eligibility criteria for the exam –

Candidate must be an Indian.

Applicant must be born on or before December 31, 1997.


The candidate must have passed the 12th class or equivalent examination from an Institution in the state of Maharashtra with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).

Exam pattern for the MHT CET exam –

The duration of entrance test will be of 3 hours.

The MH CET 2014 entrance exam will have 180 questions of multiple choice from subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
