K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research located in the city of Mumbai, was started in 1981 is one of the best management schools in the country.

Following are the Programmes that are provided under the master of business administration in the part time category at the institute-

Masters in Marketing Management (MMM)
Masters in Financial Management (MFM)
Masters in HRD Management (MHRDM)
Masters in Information management (MIM)


The first three Programmes were started in year 1994 while the last one was in year 2004.

Theses Programmes are Affiliated to University of Mumbai and are also Approved by AICTE

Classes fro theses course are held only on Wednesday to Saturday evening and Sundays.


Eligibility to get Admission - graduate degree of 3 year duration from any university recognized by AIU/AICTE/AICTE.

Also the3 candidate must Have the Minimum of two years experience after graduation.

Admission Process to the institute : final selection on the basis of Somaiya Aptitude Test, that is followed by Personal Interview and Written Communication Test.

Candidates having the Suitable work experience and past academic record will be preferred.
