September 3 - University Closed, Labor Day
September 5 - Fall Classes Begin
September 14 - 100% Drop Deadline
November 22-25 - University Closed, Thanksgiving Holiday
December 19 - Close of Fall Semester

Eastern Michigan University (EMU) is a comprehensive, co-educational public university, founded in 1849 as Michigan State Normal School.

Student Business Services—

-Students, parents, and employees may pay student bills online, by mail, in-person, or via drop-box.
-Credit card payments are accepted online only.
-E-mail notification that the first billing statement is available on Ebill is sent out approximately one month before the term begins.
-Subsequent bills are generally sent out 3-4 weeks prior to the due date.
-Student bills may be viewed online only.
-EMU does not send bills via postal mail.
-Payments plans are available online only for a nominal fee.

Student Business Services hours of operation:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Thursday 9:00am - 4:30pm
Payments can be made on-line 24/7 at ebill.emich.edu.
