Can you provide me the important dates for DET Odisha 2017 conducted by Directorate of Technical Education & Training, Odisha?

DET Odisha is the state level admission process conducted for admitting students in the first year or second year diploma courses in the field of engineering/non-engineering/technology/film and TV courses. It is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education & Training, Odisha.

Through Odisha DET, candidates’ are admitted to its 152 associated colleges. Till 2015, the admission became through an entrance exam. But from 2016, admissions are being done on the basis of merit of 10th board marks.

Eligibility Criteria

• One must have passed HSC (10th) or equivalent exam with English, Mathematics and Science subjects.
• One must have scored total 35% aggregate and 30% marks in each subject of the qualifying exam.
• There is no upper age limit is prescribed to apply for admission.
• The minimum age limit is 14 years (16 years for Mining & Drilling engineering).
