Community Mental Health Center is a provider of comprehensive mental health services, offering inpatient, outpatient, home-based, school, and community-based programs to individuals and families in Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley and Switzerland counties in South-Eastern Indiana. CMHC offers services at 17 facilities located in Lawrenceburg, Batesville, Brookville, St. Leon and Vevay.

Programs under Children and Families Services

Outpatient Mental Health
Who can participate? Anyone can participate.
Who provides the service? Master’s level therapists, independently licensed therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists
Payment: Most major insurances are accepted, non-insured, and Medicaid patients eligible.
Locations: Lawrenceburg, St. Leon, Brookville, Batesville, Vevay, Ohio County

Substance Use Services
Who can participate? Anyone can participate.
Who provides the service? Master’s level therapists, independently licensed therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists
Payment: Most major insurances are accepted, non-insured, and Medicaid patients eligible.
Locations: Lawrenceburg, St. Leon, Brookville, Batesville, Vevay, Ohio County

School and Community-based
Who can participate? School-age children can participate.
Who provides the service? Master’s level therapists, independently licensed therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists
Payment: Most major insurances are accepted, non-insured, and Medicaid patients eligible.
Locations: Lawrenceburg, St. Leon, Batesville, Vevay , and additionally in schools throughout the five county region.

Directions
Who can participate? School-age children can participate.
Who provides the service? Volunteers supervised by agency employees.
Payment: Program is free to consumers. Funding is provided by grants and schools.
If one is interested in volunteering or having the program in school one can contact the Directions! Program manager at: 812-537-1302.
Locations: The program is provided in areas schools throughout the five county region.

Support and Advocacy Services
Who can participate? Anyone can participate.
Who provides the service? Volunteers supervised by agency employees.
Payment: Program is free to consumers. Funding is provided by grants and schools.

Intensive Family Services
Who can participate? Infants – 22 year olds can participate.
Who provides the service? Case managers, Master’s level therapists, independently licensed therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists.

Locations: Lawrenceburg, Brookville, Batesville, Vevay

Wraparound Services
Who can participate? Infants – 22 year olds can participate. Most major insurances are accepted, non-insured, and Medicaid patients eligible.
Who provides the service? Resource Facilitators
Payment: Medicaid children and families are eligible.
Locations: Lawrenceburg, Brookville, Batesville, Vevay
