Council of Scientific and Industrial Research Combined Administrative Services Examination CSIR CASE is conducted by CSIR on all India basis for recruitment to the posts of Assistants (General/Finance & Account/Store & Purchase) Grade I.

CSIR CASE Eligibility

Bachelor Degree of a recognized university in any discipline

Age limits

A candidate for this examination must not have attained the age of 30 years in the year he is taking the exam.

Nationality:

A candidate must be either:

A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came over to Indian before the 1st January, 1963 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

CSIR CASE Exam Pattern

CSIR CASE will be objective type multiple choice type of exam consisting of two papers

Part 1 General Intelligence,
General Awareness etc 100 150 Mins.
Part 2 Language & Comprehension 50
Paper -II Domain Knowledge 150 150 Mins

There will be negative marking of .25 marks for every wrong answer.
