Candidate should have bachelor degree in B. Tech. / B. Arch. / B.E. from any recognized university with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.

OR

BBA/B.Com/B.Com(Professional)/B.Sc.(Hons.) Economics or Graduate in any stream with Computer Sciences/Mathematics/ Computer applications/IT/Computer Maintenance/ Statistics/ Quantitative Techniques as one of the elective subjects with 50% marks in aggregate or any equivalent degree.

This is a three year courses at the university.

M.C.A. (TYC) 3 Years

This course is based on the semester system and the total intake for this course at the university is 60 in number.

Eligibility to take admission to the course-

Candidate must have BBA/B.com./B.com.(Professional)/B.Sc.(Hons.)Economics or Graduate in any stream with Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Sciences/Computer Applications/IT/Computer Maintenance/ Quantitative Techniques as one of the elective subjects with 50% marks in aggregate

Bachelor's degree in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics as an elective subject at +2 level of schooling.

The admission to the course is based on the entrances test to be conducted by the university.

The entrances test compromises of the following things-

Mental Ability, General English, Mathematics (+2 level) and Computer Science.

There will be total 150 multiple choice questions with 1 marks each, out of which 50 questions are from Mental Ability, General English, Mathematics (+2 level) and other 100 questions from Computer Science.

The duration of the Entrance Exam will be 2 hours (120 minutes).

The University of Guru Nanak in the Amritsar city of Punjab offers the two types of course under the MCA program-

MCA (3 years).

MCA (5 years).

In order to take admission to the 3 year course of the university here are the eligibility criteria-
