IIFT Ph D Fees

Can you tell me about the fee charged for the full time and part time Ph.D. Programme of IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade)?

The Ph.D. Programme of IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade) covers Doctoral research in a variety of business related areas leading to the award of Ph.D. degree. The main learning goals and objectives of the Ph.D. Programme are:

• Promote Effective Analytical Skills
• Develop Ethical Understanding and Reasoning

Fees

Part Time Ph.D.
The total fee of the programme for the Part Time Ph.D. students is Rs. 4.00 lakhs payable to IIFT as specified below:

Programme Fees (books, study materials, incidental, exam fees, etc.)
Rs. 4,00,000/- ($7,500 for foreign students)

• To be paid at the time of joining (August 2017)
Rs. 1,00,000/-
• To be paid at the beginning of Semester 2 (January 2018)
Rs. 75,000/-

• To be paid at the time of appearing for confirmation of Ph.D.
Synopsis and Title of the Thesis (after September 2018)
Rs. 75,000/-

• To be paid after completion of third year (June 2020)
Rs. 75,000/-

• To be paid after completion of fourth year (June 2021)
Rs. 75,000/-

Library Fees
(Library Security Deposit – (Refundable)
To be paid at the time of Registration (August 2017) (Same for foreign students)
Rs. 5,000/-

Full Time Ph.D.

The total fee of the programme for the Full Time Ph.D. students is Rs. 1,00,000/- payable to IIFT as specified below.

• To be paid at the time of joining (August 2017)
Rs. 40,000/-

• To be paid at the beginning of Semester 2 (January 2018)
Rs. 40,000/-

• To be paid at the time of appearing for confirmation of
Synopsis and Title of the Thesis (after September 2018)
Ph.D. Rs. 20,000/-

Library Fees (Library Security Deposit – (Refundable)
To be paid at the time of Registration (August 2017) (Same for foreign students)
Rs. 5,000/-
