The award was conferred on May 11, 2000 for the being the chief core member of the project and for the significant contribution in the development of fly ash technology. • Recipient of Fellow Scholarship award for 1998 Warsaw International conference on Environmental Geotechnics, Warsaw, Poland organised by US Environmental Protection Agency • Recipient of Student Scholarship award for 1997 International Containment Technology Conference and Exhibition, Florida organised by US department of Energy, DuPont Company and US Environmental Protection Agency. • Recipient of DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) Scholarship for doing advanced research work in Germany.
