TATA Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) conducts a National Entrance Test (NET) exam known as TISSNET. The exam is directed for all Masters programs offered in TISS grounds at Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati, IMHST Chennai, MHAT Calicut and G-SET Ranchi. TISS-NET is a PC based selection test. The passageway test comprises of target questions identified with Social Sensitivity, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Ability and Knowledge on Contemporary issues. The exam is held for 100 minutes (1 hour and 40 minutes). Test Fees The application expense for TISSNET 2018 is Rs 1030 ( application expense for Rs 1000 or more bank charges). Applicants having a place with SC and ST classification, whose parent's/gatekeeper's yearly wage is not as much as Rs. 2.5 Lakh while hopefuls having a place with OBC class, whose parent's yearly incole is beneath than Rs 1 lakh are required to pay Rs 250 as application expense. Pattern TISSNET 2018 will comprise of 100 various decision questions identified with subjects of Social Sensitivity, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Ability and Knowledge on Contemporary issues. The span of the test is for 100 minutes i.e 1 hour and 40 minutes. There is no negative stamping. Shortlisted applicants (those qualifying TISSNET) will be called for Pre-Written Test and Personal Interview. For Pre-Written Test, applicants will be given two areas to endeavor. Segment one will include paper composing on a given topic identified with contemporary socio-political, financial, social and political criticalness must contain under 1000 words. Segment two will involve questions identified with given contextual analysis. After the composed test, the hopefuls should show up for individual meeting. Determination Process The last shortlisting of competitors will be led in two phases assessing on three parts for all projects offered by TISS. Competitors need to clear the qualifying exam TISSNET. Shortlisted hopefuls will then be called for Pre Interview Test and Personal Interview (PIT/PI).
