Hi I am interested in having the information about the selection process as well as details of the Physical Standards, Physical Efficiency, and Medical Standards Tests for recruitment in CAPF?

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is leading the CAPF (AC) enlistment procedure to waitlist qualified competitors in Central Armed Police Forces of the country.

The choice methodology of CAPF 2017 comprises of three phases for determination of competitors in SSB, BSF, ITBP, CISF, CRPF. Every one of the competitors will initially show up for a composed examination qualifying which they will show up for physical/restorative test and finally will be required an individual meeting.

Essentially, there are three phases set around the UPSC for the choice of work force for the post of Assistant Commandants (Group An) in CAPF 2017. Hopefuls should experience the accompanying stages:

Written examination

Physical Standards, Physical Efficiency, and Medical Standards Tests

Individual Interview

Physical Standards, Physical Efficiency and Medical Standards Tests

Aspirants who shall be declared qualified in the written examination will be required to be presented for the Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests as well as Medical Standards Tests. Those aspirants, who shall meet the prescribed Physical Standards, will be asked to undergo through the Physical Efficiency Tests as detailed below:

Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) Examination Physical Endurance Test (PET)

Physical Efficiency (Endurance) Test(PET)

For male competitors as it were

100 meters race in 16 seconds

1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes

Long Jump : 3.65 meters in 3 shots

High Jump : 1.2 meters in 3 possibilities

Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 meters in 3 possibilities

For female applicants as it were

100 meters race in 18 seconds

800 meters race in 4 minutes

Long Jump: 2.7 meters (9 feet) in 3 shots.

High Jump : 0.9 meters (3 feet) in 3 shots.

Note:

There might be no base prerequisite of chest estimation for Female competitors.

Unwinding in stature and chest ( as the case might be ) as specified above will be reasonable just on generation of authentication in the proforma as endorsed in Annexure VIII from the skillful experts of the District where they usually reside(s).

Those competitors who are proclaimed not qualified in Physical Standards, i.e .tallness and chest, may incline toward an interest, in the event that they so seek, to the re-appraising specialist show on the PET ground. The choice of the re-appraising specialist will be last and no further interest or portrayal in such manner will be engaged.
