Hi I am interested in having the information about the NEFT/RTGS transfer service at Corporation Bank as well as the details for the 15 digit account number utilization for the same?

RBI has guided the Banks to prepare the internal NEFT/RTGS installments exclusively in view of record number furnsihed by the remitter Bank.

Arrangement for indicating 15 digit account number: We are happy to advise that the 15 digit account number component for NEFT and RTGS has been executed in our Bank.The clients would now be able to say their current record number in ECS design for NEFT and RTGS internal settlements. The organization for determining 15 digit account number is as per the following:

Case: For account SB02000101 at New Delhi - Greater Kailash Branch (0286), the 15 digit numeric record number is 028600102000101. Here 001 after branch code is account sort mapping code.

Alpha numeric and new 15 digit account number (numeric) might exist together. That implies the clients can either say their record number as SB02000101 or as 028600102000101 for the above record. It is our attempt to make the clients utilize just 15 digit account number in future.
