Hi I am interested in having the information as well as the detailed report of the Committee set to examine the JEE System by Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, Technical Section?

In compatibility of the choice taken in the 49th IIT Council meeting held of sixth October, 2015 (Ref.: D.O. Request No.19-3/2011-TS.1 dated eighth October, 2015 from Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, Technical Section.1, New Delhi), it has been chosen to constitute of a Committee of Eminent Persons to survey the current JEE framework for entrance into IITs.

The composition of the Committee of Eminent Persons is as under:

1. Shri Ashok Misra, Chairperson, BoG, IIT Roorkee Chairperson

2. Shri Pawan Goenka, Chairperson , BoG, IIT Madras Member

3. Dr. Tessy Thomas, Outstanding Scientist’ & Director
Advanced Systems Laboratory (ASL), Hyderabad
Member

4. Prof. Gautam Barua, Mentor Director, IIIT-Guwahati Member

5. Prof. M.S. Ananth, Chairperson, IIITDM Kancheepuram Member

6. Dr. Baldev Raj, Chairman, BoG, IIT Gandhinagar Member

The terms of reference of Committee of Eminent Persons audit the current JEE framework for induction into IITs is as under:

To prescribe structure of a solitary exam that tests the understanding, calculated lucidity, furthermore, creative considering understudies for admission to IITs and NITs.

To discover implies in the exam structure that would decrease the weight on understudies and
