Provide me some information about Gitam university campus Library. In which year it was established?

GITAM University starts library activity setting up of library for College of Engineering in 1980. This was added by library of College of Management Studies 1988, which was followed by the library of GIFT in 1997. The central library was commissioned in 2002.

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management that is popularly known as GITAM was estb in year 1980 in Andhra Pradesh by Dr.M.V.V.S.Murthy.

The library building of the institute was named after the famous teacher, and the former President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan as Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Bhavan.

This is a five storey building that has all the facilities.

The Building has a total measurement of 50,000 s.ft and facilities like air conditioned auditorium that has the seating capacity of 200 and also place to host meetings for a capacity of 500 persons.

The central library at the institute was commissioned in year 2002 this building is centrally located in the campus.
