The Visvesvaraya Technical University is a public state University in Karnataka. It was established on 1st April 1998. It was established by the Govt. of Karnataka. The University offers many courses of under graduate and post graduate level. It also offers MCA.
The MCA, Master of Computer Application is the master programme for computer application for those candidates who want to go further in the field of Information Technology. Candidates who want to do MCA from VTU, they must have a bachelor degree with minimum 50% marks.

The University conducts an entrance examination PGCET for admission to MCA. There is no examination date declare for MCA entrance 2013 on the official website of the University. If you want to apply for the entrance test, you can get more detail from the University.

Visvesvaraya Technological University was founded on April 1, 1998.

MCA
Duration: 3 Years
Eligibility:
The applicant should have a Bachelors degree from any recognized University.

Selection procedure:
There shall be an Entrance Examination for admission to the MCA Course.
A candidate seeking admission in any of the Engineering Colleges affiliated to VTU shall have to take this Examination.

For Govt. seats in colleges and for VTU course, PGCET will conduct the entrance exam.

PGCET exam is conducted by the Karnataka examination board.

PGCET Exam Pattern:

The PGCET exam will be conducted based on the written examination containing objective type questions.

HCF, LCM, Geometric Progression, Arithmetic progression, Arithmetic mean, Geometric mean , Harmonic mean, Median, Mode, and Number Base System.
