Allahabad University is a central university that was established on 23 September 1887 and is the fourth oldest university of India.

As you are looking to get admission into the Med courses of the university so let me tell you that the university has not started the admission process for this year yet so I am telling you the details from the last year admissions at the university.

Some of the dates as per the last year admission process at the Allahabad University are as follows-

Important Dates

Application form online sale and submission process begins: 05th May, 2013, Sunday

Last date of submission of application forms online: 30th May, 2013, Thursday

Date of enabling online admit cards: 07th June, 2013, Friday

Date of entrance test: 15th June, 2013, Saturday, 09.00 a.m. to 12.00 a.m.

Entrance exam pattern at the university for the Med course-

The M.Ed admission test shall comprise one theory paper that will be of 3 hours duration.

The papers have 20 short answer questions

The maximum limit of words for each answer shall be 100 words

The maximum marks for the paper would be 100.

Eligibility to get admission to the course-

A candidate should have passed B.A/B.Com/B.Sc and B.Ed or equivalent examination from this university or from any recognized university in the country with at least 45% in the aggregate in the Bachelor’s degree.

Also the candidate must have obtained at least 55% marks in the B.Ed degree exam.
