HI I would like to have the information about the Faculty of Arts at Maharaja Sayajirao University as well as the courses and departments?

A head organization of instructing and research in dialects, sociologies and the humanities, the Faculty of Arts, owes its beginning to The Baroda College, built up in 1881 by H. H. Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad – III of the recent Baroda State. The Faculty is blessed by the name of the diviner and thinker, Sri Aurobindo Ghosh, who had been designated by Sir Sayajirao to show English furthermore as the Vice-Principal of the recent Baroda College.

The Faculty has dependably tried to build up a system of intelligent people with a view to adding to the reason for information and conferring training, receptive to the progressions occurring in the field of learning and innovation, to support multi and interdisciplinary research, to present and create courses

In an attempt to align every one of its Programs with the proposed uniform example everywhere throughout the state and the nation, with impact from the Academic Year (2011-2012), the Faculty of Arts presented a Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), started by the National Knowledge Commission, University Grants Commission and the Association of Indian Universities.
