Notebook Drive is a volunteer gathering in Indian Institute of Science (IISc) whose goal is to help understudies of less advantaged school and society and advancing instruction among school understudies for their better future.

Way back in 2002, two or three IIScians had these significant thoughts and honest to goodness worry over the under-advantaged, and the result is the thing that we now call the "Scratch pad Drive".

NBD has developed and possessed the capacity to maintain throughout the years because of the consistent support of IISc understudy group, personnel, graduated class, and IISc-AANA (IISc Alumni Association of North America).

Activities

Started by supporting the Govt. school in IISc, yet today the exercises traverse more than 26 schools in and around Bangalore. With the most punctual and the center action being dispersion of notebook and stationary, today it has extended the exercises to arrangement of library and games offices, sorting out Science fairs, offering grants to penniless praiseworthy understudies, tutoring school understudies and normal intuitive sessions in schools.
