Go to web site : upsconline.nic.in/mainmenu2.php

You will reach the following page


Click on "Click Here" botton under Part 1 Registration in from the Special Class Railway Apprentice Exam.

You will reach the following registration page


After filling the necessary details... you will get a registration ID

Then go to upsconline.nic.in/mainmenu2.php again and now fill the Part 2 Registration for Special Class Railway Apprentice Exam
The pages looks like as under


You are Done... after this you are now registered for UPSC SCRA 2012 Exam and follow the guidelines as mention after completing this registration process

SCRA application forms can be obtained from the official website of the SCRA. But the application forms are not available now. The examination date is over. The examination was scheduled on 12th January, 2014.

Eligibility:

Age should be between 17 years and 21 years

Must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a University or Board with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination

Graduates with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects

Important Dates:

Date of Notification: 05-10-2013
Starting Date for Online Registration: 05-10-2013
Last date for Online Registration: 04-11-2013 till 11:59 PM
Date of Written Examination: 12-01-2014

How to Apply:

Log on to the official UPSC website

Candidates must then select the Part I of Application by selecting the link Click Here below Part I Registration of desired service.

Fill all the marked details of Part I of Application Form and then make the payment.

After making payment online or offline candidates must revisit the website.

This time candidates need to select the link Click Here below Part II Registration.

Again fill all the mandatory details in Part II of Application.

Upload the scanned Photograph and Signature at the places provided and submit the Application.

Take print out of Online Application and retain it for further use.

SCRA is abbreviation of Special Class Railway Apprentice. It is a competitive entrance exam, which is directed by Union Public Services Commission (UPSC). SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentice) examination is organized to choose the eligible candidates for Special Class Railways Apprentices. Applicants can download SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentice) Application Form 2011 from official website of Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) or purchase the form from the specified Head Post Offices throughout India from 26th March 2011 till 25th April 2011.
