There is no new news is updates by JEE main for any changes in main application. But the JEE Main is provides facility to make changes in Application Form is there any Correction in JEE Main Application Form.

The Application process of JEE Main was commenced from December 1, 2016.

Candidates have already started applying for the Joint Entrance Examination. The last date for applying has been extended till January 16, 2017.

CBSE will open a window for correction of the Application Form of JEE Main that will be available after January 23, 2017.

Detail of changes in JEE main application





Correct Application Form:

Go to the official site.
Log in with your application number and password
After log in, the details filled in the form are displayed.
At the end of the page a link with Edit Application Form is displayed.
Go through the form carefully.
Once you finish editing check and recheck all the details.
Submit only when you are satisfied that form is now correctly filled.
When form is submitted after correction, take a print out of JEE Main application form correction slip and keep it safely.

Exam pattern

The Paper-1 (B.E./B. Tech.) of JEE Main 2017 will be conducted in two separate modes i.e. Offline (Pen and Paper Based Examination) mode and Online (Computer Based Examination) mode.
The Paper-2 (B. Arch./B. Planning.) of JEE (Main) will be conducted only in Pen and Paper based examination mode.
A candidate will opt for either Pen and Paper Based or Computer Based examination modes for Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) only.

The duration of exam (both Paper-1 and Paper-2) will be 3 hours.
Paper-1 would contain 3 sections: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Paper-2 would contain Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing test.
There will be total 90 questions in Paper-1 with 30 questions from each section.
Total marks will be 360.
Every correct answer gives you 4 marks while one 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
