I want to get the details of notification of AP Polytechnic Common Entrance Test POLYCET Exam?

AP POLYCET is a state level entrance examination which is organized by the Andhra Pradesh state board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) for admission in engineering and non-engineering technical courses.

AP POLYCET 2017 Tentative dates-

Sale of Application Form Date Third week of March 2017
Last Date of Application Form Second week of April 2017
AP Polycet Exam Date Fourth week of April 2017
Result Announcement Second week of May 2017
Counselling begins Last week of June 2017

AP POLYCET exam eligibility-

Candidates should have passed SSC examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other equivalent examination

Candidates belonging to NIOS/CBSE/ICSE/ other examinations recognized as equivalent to SSC by A.P. govt should have passed all the subjects including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry with minimum of 35% marks in each subject.

Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination can also apply

There is no age limit

Candidates shall be an Indian National.

AP POLYCET Exam Pattern

Mode: paper & pencil based test

No. of Questions: There will be 120 Multiple choice questions from class X Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English.

Duration: The duration of the exam will be two hours.

Marking Scheme: All questions will carry equal marks.

Negative marking: No negative marking in the question paper
