I want to build career in dental line and for this decided to give the National Board Dental Examinations want details about this exam. Will you tell what the test fees for National Board Dental Examinations also tell test structure or pattern so that I can prepare well for the exams?

National Board Dental Examinations

This American Dental Association video highlights how the ADA has always been a patient-centered, science-based and ethically-driven association.
The purpose of the Part I, Part II, and Dental Hygiene examinations is to assist state boards in determining qualifications of dentists/dental hygienists who seek licensure to practice dentistry/dental hygiene.

The fees for rescheduling testing appointments are as follows:

$100 1 to 5 business days prior to the testing appointment
$ 60 6 to 30 business days prior to the testing appointment
$ 25 31 or more business days prior to the testing appointment

Test structure:

The NBDE is Divided Into Two Tests
Part I

Generally taken after your first or second year of dental school (after the basic science curriculum is completed).
Subject areas focus on basic sciences:
Anatomic Science
Biochemistry/Physiology
Microbiology/Pathology
Dental Anatomy/Occlusion

Structured as a one-day exam: 400 questions to be completed in seven hours with 20% being grouped into testlets with interdisciplinary focus and clinical application.
Performance is scored as pass/fail

Part II
Generally taken during the third or fourth year of dental school.
Subject areas focus on clinical dentistry:
Operative Dentistry
Pharmacology
Prosthodontics
Oral Surgery/Pain Control
Orthodontics/Pediatric Dentistry
Endodontics
Periodontics
Oral Pathology/Radiology
Patient Management

Structured as a two-day exam: 400 questions to be completed in seven hours on the first day; 100 case-based questions to be completed in three and a half hours on the second day.
Performance is scored as pass/fail
