Qualification
Essential:
Good academic record with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade where grading system is practised at the Master’s degree level in Linguistics from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

Desirable:
A Ph.D Degree in Linguistics with specialisation in Tibeto-Burman languages.
Able to conduct fieldwork with communities in Sikkim and North Bengal and speak in Nepali/Bangla. Be able to carry out other responsibilities as assigned by the Coordinator/Chairperson.
