I am pursuing B.Tech Degree with ECE Branch from University of Jadavpur. I am thinking to do training from DRDO. So please provide guidelines for students who want to do training from DRDO?

The DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organization) offers training for students of B.Tech and M.Tech Programs. Disciplines accepted Metallurgical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Nano Technology/Nano Science Materials Science And Engineering Materials Technology Materials Engineering Other Materials Science/Metallurgy Related Branches B.Tech Training Program B. Tech. students will be offered training in the form of either “Technical Orientation” or “Short Project Work/Internship” Students who have completed their 6th semester and have not started the 7th Semester will be offered “Technical Orientation” for about one month during summer (between May-July). Students who have completed their 7th Semester and have not started their 8th Semester will be offered “Short Project Work/Internship” for a period of 1-2 months during winter (between Dec.-Feb.). Students not fulfilling the criteria mentioned under points 2 and 3 above will not be eligible for training at DMRL. Approximately 25 students per year will be enrolled each for Technical Orientation and Short Project Work/Internship. “first-come-first-served” policy will be followed for taking eligible students.
