Default Re: PLAB IELTS Exemption

Sorry to say you but without IELTS scores no one have permission for to apply for Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board.

The PLAB test is the main route by which International Medical Graduates (IMGs) demonstrate that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to practise medicine in the UK.

IELTS is an English Language test administered by the British Council, IDP Education Australia and Cambridge ESOL. It is run in over 100 countries.

Your IELTS certificate is valid for two years. Your certificate must be valid on the day you sit PLAB Part 1.

If you are taking the PLAB test, it must be valid on the day you sit PLAB part 1.

For General Medical Council to accept your IELTS certificate it must show:

That you got a score of at least 7.0 in each testing area (speaking, listening, reading and writing), and an overall score of 7.5
That you got these scores in the same test
That you took the academic version of the test
The original stamp and test report form (TRF) number
