All India Council for Technical Education has signed MoU with Microsoft Operations Pte Limited, to provide the free services offered by Microsoft to the student community in the Technical Field to improve the student and faculty capabilities of Colleges approved by AICTE in technology development vis a vis alternate sources of information and development platforms. DreamSpark Program The DreamSpark program provides professional technology equipment free to all verifiable students across India. Microsoft is able to provide this offer securely to students by leveraging the existing infrastructure established by universities across India and to enable friction free student access to genuine software. Microsoft aims to equip and empower the next generation of software professionals by providing professional-level tools. Products in the program include: Windows Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2008, Visual Studio 2010, Expression Studio 4.0, XNA Game Studio & Robotics toolkit. Through this endeavor Microsoft aims to empower students with the tools they need during their academic experience and the skills they will need after graduation. Benefits: • Students are able to easily try out and use tech tools freely. • The same technology tools that professionals have to pay for to use will now be given free to students • Students can immediately receive this tremendous software benefit by downloading bits and license keys from any Internet connection and or from their respective colleges. • Learn website design, creation, and management skills through the Expression Studio tool set. • Use Visual Studio and build up your developer assets to prepare yourself for professional career. • Equipped with these professional tools, students will be able to compete against developers, designers, and web creators to deliver cutting-edge results.
