The Mumbai University offers PhD in Economics and as you asked the eligibility criteria for the admission in this course here I am giving you its eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria:-
You must have required the Master's Degree in Economics from recognized University with minimum 55% marks.

Apply Procedure:-
You are to require entering in Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) of Mumbai University for admission in PhD in economics courses.

Please advise whether the University accepts and promotes inter-disciplinary doctoral research. For example, if master degree holder in commerce or sociology with long hands on experience on economics will be able to pursue Ph.D. in economics or not.

Secondly, please advise if their is any quota for foreign student and if so, whether the admission process is any different from the regular process?
