IIMB Financial Aid

Hi I want to do the PhD course from the Indian Institute of Management IIM Bangalore so does it provide the financial aid so I can have an idea??

Well the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore is a public business school located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India

FPM is a full time doctoral programme at IIMB.

Fellow Programme in Management is recognized as equivalent to Ph.D. by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Financial Aid

An FPM student receives a stipend of Rs 3,51,600/- per annum, in addition to tuition waiver, to cover living and other expenses

Hostel rooms are provided, for free, for those students who are eligible for financial aid. Those who stay outside campus will get an additional payment of Rs. 8,500 (single students) or Rs. 13,000 (married students) per month as non-residential subsidy


Selection criteria

Based on the information provided by the applicants, candidates will be shortlisted (on the recommendation of the respective areas) and called to Bangalore for an area specific written test (a written test as per the requirement of the specific areas) and / or interview.

You shall be admitted to the programme based on a combination of multiple parameters, as specified by the respective areas.

Parameters may include applicant's performance in either of CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE , JRF (NET) score or IIMB Test (as applicable), past academic performance, work experience, area specific test written test and/ or interview performance etc.
