Punjab Technical University Combined Entrance Test PTU CET is the under graduate entrance examination conducted by I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar for admission in graduation degree in Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Architecture, Hotel Management, Medical Lab Technologies and IT courses

PTU CET Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech:

10+2 or equivalent education with physics and Math as the main subjects and any of Computer Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology and Biology as non-compulsory subject

For B.Arch:

10+2) or equivalent education with not less than 50% marks in mathematics and English as subjects of assessment

For B.Pharmacy:

10+2 with physics and chemistry as required subjects along with any of bio-Technology, Computer Science, or mathematics as the optional subjects or 3 year qualification in pharmacy with a minimum of 50% marks

Candidate’s age should be more than 17 years can apply

PTU CET 2017 Tentative dates-

• The online application starts from April 2017
• The last date to fill the application form will be by May 2017
• Admit card will be provided a week prior to the examination
• Entrance examination will be conducted by May 2017
• Results will be declared by June 2017
• Counselling process will start by July 2017

Exam Pattern for PTU CET

There are multiple choice questions

Questions will be related to Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Physics.

The medium of answering the question will be English.
