Can you tell me about the age and other requirements for admission into first year of the 3 year LL.B. course offered by Karnataka State Law University (KSLU)? The Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) was established in 2009, by the Government of Karnataka under the Karnataka State Law University Act, 2009, with its headquarters at Navanagar, Hubli. Eligibility and Admission Procedure Admissions to first year of the 3 year LL.B. course, in all colleges under the jurisdiction of Karnataka State Law University, is strictly based on merit, based on the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination. To be eligible for admission in the 3 year LL.B. course, one should: • One must have graduated in any discipline of knowledge from a University recognised by Government of India. • One must be less than 30 years for General Category and 35 years for one from SC, ST and other backward communities as on 1st June. • One must have secured marks, which shall not be below 45% of total marks for General Category applicants and 40% of total marks for SC and ST applicants.
