Physics Programs B.Tech(Hons) M.Tech MCA M.Sc Ph.D CEP Admission Policy It adopts the MHRD, Government of India guidelines for admission to all academic programmes of the Institute. UG: The admission in it is made on the performance in the class 12/equivalent qualifying exam and in the JEE (Main). The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) / Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) allocates the seats for Under Graduate Programmes through Common Counseling process. M. Tech.: One is admitted on the basis of the GATE score & seat distribution according to Centralized Counselling for M. Tech./M. Arch./M. Plan Admissions (CCMT) M.Sc.: Admission in it is based on JAM Score in the JAM examination and through Centralized Counseling for M.Sc. (CCMN). MCA: Admission in it is based on NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) examination jointly conducted by NITs and through centralized common counseling. PhD: Admission in it is through direct notification given by the institute. The selection of the candidates is made on the basis of tests/interview conducted by the respective departments.
