Special Class Railway Apprentice (SCRA) is conducted by Union Public Service Commission UPSC on behalf of Indian Railways for four years of apprenticeship. SCRA Exam Eligibility Candidates must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent examination with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination. Age Limit: Your age should be between 17 to 21 years Upper age limit is relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC. SCRA Exam Pattern Part I is written examination carrying a maximum of 600 marks. Part II is personality test carrying a maximum of 200 marks in respect of only those candidates who are declared qualified on the results of written examination. SCRA Paper Subject Duration Marks Paper I General Ability Test 2 Hours 200 Paper II Physical Sciences (Physics & Chemistry) 2 Hours 200 Paper III Mathematics 2 Hours 200 Total 600 The papers in all the subjects consists of objective multiple-type questions. There is negative marking also. The question papers are set in English only.
