As per your concern I will let you know JEE Advanced exam pattern, so that you can check it easily.

Here is the exam pattern

The JEE Advanced Paper Pattern 2017 states that the exam will have two papers:

Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Paper 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 noon while Paper 2 will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm.

The question papers will only be available in two languages – English and Hindi. Candidates will have to choose the medium they prefer at the time of applying for the exam.

Each paper will have three sections and exam duration of three hours:

Section 1 will be Physics,

Section 2 will be Chemistry, and

Section 3 will be Mathematics.

Paper 1
Each category has 3 sections,
Section 1 has 10 MCQ’s. Each question has 4 options with only one correct answer

Section 2 has 5 MCQ’s. Each question has 4 options with one or more correct answer(s)

Section 3 has 5 questions with single digit integer ranging from 0 to 9

Paper 2
Just like Paper 1, paper 2 also has 3 sections,
Section 1 has 8 MCQ’s. Each question has 4 options with only one correct answer

Section 2 has 8 MCQ’s. Each question will have four options with only one correct answer. This section contains four paragraphs (which includes theory, practical aspects, data)

Two questions will be asked from each paragraph.

Section 3 has four questions which will be Matching List type questions. Two lists are given with matching options coded as a, b, c, and d. Based on the given codes, correct answers has to be chosen.
