M. Sc. Genomics and Proteomics is a postgraduate Biomedical Engineering course. This program aims to enhance awareness and understanding of modern molecular biology concepts and techniques including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, metabolomics and systems biology.

The field includes studies of intra genomic phenomena such as heterosis, epistasis, pleiotropy and other interactions between loci and alleles within the genome.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission:
Candidate must have completed graduation in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Agriculture, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology and other Biological Sciences from a university recognized by UGC.

Graduates of Biomedical Engineering and Biotech Engineering are also eligible for this course.
