Hello there, Indian Air Force has announced the recruitment notification for the Commissioned Officers in Meteorological Branch whereas (137 Ground duty/30 SCC) and invited applications from the eligible candidates.

The closing date to receive application form is 21st of March, 2014 which has been recently passed.

Name of the Post is Commissioned Officers in Meteorological Branch

Educational Description:-
You should have completed M.Sc or equivalent qualifications in the disciplines like:-
Agricultural Meteorology/
Geo-physics/ Geography/
Oceanography/
Environmental Biology/
Ecology & Environment securing minimum of 50% marks.

You should have studied Physics & Mathematics at Bachelor Level with atleast 55% marks aggregate.

Age Requirement:-
Your age should fall in between 20yrs to 25yrs as on Jan 1st, 2014.


Selection System:-

Your selection will be done through Intelligence Test, Personal Interview and Medical Examination.

You will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in these rounds.

Required Physical Standards:-

You should have minimum Height of 157.50 cms if you are male Candidates & (152 cms for the Female Candidate) and Weight should be in co-relation with the Height.
