NIPER Criteria

I want to take admission in National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) and decided to give the JEE Exam. Can you please tell what the NIPER JEE Exam eligibility criteria and pattern of exam alos provide me important dates to apply for exam?

NIPER JEE is a national level entrance examination which is required to take admission in institutes offering post graduate programs like MS (Pharm), MPharm, MTech (Pharm) and MBA (Pharm).

Eligibility Criteria for NIPER JEE

To get eligible in NIPER Joint Entrance Exam and study in National Institute of Pharmaceuticals Education and Research candidate are required to meet the following eligibility criteria:

• You must have done the Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in respective discipline according to the course for which he/ she wants to apply.

• The applicant must have at least 60% or 6.75 GPA (55% or 6.25 for SC /ST candidates & 50% or 5.75 GPA for PH candidates) aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.

• He / She must have the valid GATE or NET or GPAT score. Those who are in final year can also apply for the same.

Exam Pattern for NIPER JEE

NIPER JEE will be conducted in 2nd week of July. The syllabus and exam pattern are mentioned below:

• There are 200 questions in 2 hours.
• Questions will be very easy so no need to go in depth of the topic.
• Basic concepts based questions are asked. M. Pharma branches and M.B.A. has a common entrance paper. So read some general knowledge aspects also.
• This syllabus is just like GATE entrance but more specific in Basic Chemistry instead of medicinal chemistry.
