Delhi University conducts entrance examination for admission in M.Sc course. The DU offers M.Sc course in various subjects.

Important Tentative Dates:

Date of Announcement of result: last week of June
Last date for receipt of completed application form: last week of May

Eligibility:

Minimum eligibility requirements for admission to the Master Degree Courses in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Anthropology, Geology, and Environmental studies through Entrance Exam are as under

M.Sc. Course in Physics:

B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics (3 years courses after 10+2) from Delhi University only
60% or above marks in the aggregate for a B.Sc. (Hons) Intergrated course otherwise 60% or above marks in the main subject

M.Sc. Course in Chemistry:

B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry (3 years courses after 10+2) from Delhi University only
60% or above marks in the aggregate and 60% or above marks in the main subject Chemistry

M.Sc. Course in Botany:

B.Sc. (Hons.) Botany/B.Sc. (Hons) Biological Science (3 years course after 10+2) from Delhi only
60% or above marks in aggregate in the main subject

M.Sc. Course in Zoology:

B.Sc. (Hons.) Zoology/B.Sc. (Hons) Biological Science or B.Sc. (Hons)/B.Sc. Life Science and (3 years Course after 10+2) from Delhi University only
60% or above marks in aggregate in the main subject

M.Sc. Course in Anthropology:

B.Sc. (Hons) Anthropology (3 years Course after 10+2) from Delhi University only
60% or above marks in the aggregate in the main subject

M.Sc. Course in Geology:

B.Sc. (Hons.) Geology/B.Sc. (Genl.) Geology (3 or 4 years course) after (10+2) form Delhi University or only
60% or above marks in aggregate in the main subject

The Application Form is available from the Office of the Faculty of Science, Porta Cabin, Near Department of Zoology, University of Delhi; Delhi-110007

The Prospectus can be obtained by depositing a draft for Rs.200/- in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi payable at State Bank of India, Service Branch, Delhi.
