Candidate for AFCAT was invited on 30th June 2016 and date is Extended Up to 02-07-2016. But at this time dates are closed. Candidates may apply for registration in upcoming exam of AFCAT. Important dates: Starting Date to Apply Online 04-06-2016 Last Date to Apply Online 30-06-2016 (Extended Up to 02-07-2016) Date of AFCAT & EKT Exam 28-08-2016 (Sunday) Date of Course Commencing July 2017 The Indian Air Force was published notification for the recruitment of Commissioned Officer vacancies in Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Branches through Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT). Name of the Post: Commissioned Officers Name of the Branch: Flying Branch: Technical Branch: Ground Duty Branch: Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be between 20-24 years for Flying Branch, 20-26 years for Technical Branch & Ground Duty Branch. Age relaxation is applicable up to 26 years of age for Flying Branch as per rules. Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Graduation in any discipline or B.E/ B.Tech with 60% marks for Flying Branch, Four year Degree/ Integrated Post Graduation qualification or cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with 60% marks for Technical Branch and Graduation with 60% marks/ B.Com Degree/ MBA/ MCA or MA/ M. Sc Degree with minimum of 50% marks for Ground Duty Branch from a recognised University. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on in AFCAT & Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) followed by Intelligence Test, Psychological Test, Group Test, Medical Test and Interview conducted by Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs). Candidates applying for Flying Branch must appear for CPSS (Computerized Pilot Selection System), Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT).
