The General Insurance Corporation (GIC) of India conducts the recruitment for Assistant Manager Scale I Posts in various disciplines.

GIC Exam Eligibility:

Candidates who have completed Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from a recognized University are eligible to apply.

Selection Mode: The candidates will be selected based on the performance in the above tests:

Written exam.
Group Discussion.
Interview.

The candidates who clear the written exam will be attending the group discussion and then interview.

Syllabus for the GIC Assistant Manager Scale- 1 2016 Exam:

The exam will be in three sections like part A, Part B, part C. Each part will be conducted for different marks and time duration and all the details are mentioned below in detail.

The Syllabus for GIC Asst.Manager – General Stream: 150 marks- 150mins.

Part A: Objective Type:

Marks- 40 marks.

Time: 30mins.

Topic: High Order Reasoning Ability & Critical Thinking.

Part B: Objective Type:

Marks- 80 marks.

Time: 60mins.

Topics:

Reasoning: 20marks.
English: 20 marks.
General Awareness: 20marks.
Numerical Ability & Computer Literacy: 20marks.

Part C: Descriptive Type:

Marks- 30 marks.

Time: 60mins.

Topic: English-Essay, Precise, Comprehension.
