Hi I want to know that what is the campus area for the National Institute of Technology NIT , Agartala and what are the departments offered by the institute ??

Well the National Institute of Technology, Agartala, shortened to NIT Agartala or NITA, is a technology-oriented institute of higher education

It was established by India's Ministry of Human Resource Development Government of India in Agartala, India.

The campus, which had been nonresidential, was made residential for the 2007 – 2008 session with the reopening of two boys hostels and one girls hostel.

The total Campus area is of the 365.6 acres (1.480 km2)

The institute campus is built over 335 acres (1.36 km2) of land with modern facilities meeting the overall requirements.

The Institute has a 33 kilovolt dedicated power supply through Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited, for uninterrupted power supply in the campus.

The campus is totally connected through Wi-Fi with a WiMAX wireless backbone, and all e-journal facilities are available in the digital library of NIT Agartala.
