Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an Online Computer-Based test Conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), India.

It is a national-level admission test for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programmes approved by AICTE.

Eligibility Criteria ;

Nationality:
Indian nationals are eligible to apply for common management admission test.

Academic Qualification:

Candidate must have completed the graduation level education in any discipline from Recognized University .

Final year students of graduate courses whose result will be announced before the commencement of admission can also apply for the CMAT 2017.

Application Fee

General + OBC Candidates: Rs.1400 + Bank charges as applicable
SC/ST/PD/All Girl Candidates: Rs.700 + Bank charges as applicable
In Foreign Countries: $125 + Bank charges as applicable

CMAT 2017 Exam Dates

Commencement of Online Registration First week of November 2016

Conclusion of Online Registration 2nd week of December 2016

Issue of Admit Card 2nd week of January 2017

Test Date 3rd week of January 2017 (09:30 AM – 12:30 PM)

Result declaration Last week of January 2017 (7.00 PM)

Exam Pattern :

The questions in CMAT 2017 are divided in 4 sections with multiple choice questions.

The questionnaire is divided into the following questions and each section carries 25 questions having a maximum of 100 marks.

Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation
Logical reasoning
Language comprehension
General awareness

You will score 4 marks for each right answer and lose 1 mark for each wrong answer.

You can also swap to any section at any point in time during the exam as per your convenience.
