University of Jammu MPhil PhD Combined Entrance Test (CET) is conducted by University Of Jammu for admission to M.Phil / Ph.D Courses in the University.

Faculty of Science:
Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Geology, Geography, Physics, Electronics, Home Science, Remote Sensing and GIS

Faculty of Mathematical Science:
Mathematics, Computer Science & Information, Technology, Statistics

Faculty of Life Sciences:
Botany, Biotechnology, Environment Science 5+2, Zoology, Human Genetics

Faculty of Arts:
Buddhist Studies, Dogri, English, Hindi, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Urdu

Faculty of Social Sciences:
Economics, History, Library Science, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Centre for Studies in Museology, Department of Strategic & Regional Studies, Centre for History Culture for Jammu & Ladakh Region

Faculty of Business Studies:
Management Siudies, SHTM, Commerce

Eligibility Criteria -

Master Degree, with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC/ST Candidates)

Candidates are required to appear in the entyrance exam.

A candidate shall be required to obtain minimum 50% marks in the Entrance Test

The following candidates are exempted from the entrance test-

M.Phil from University of Jammu, JRF qualified or those who have qualified NET/SET/SLET/ INSPIRE/College Teachers, the Statuary, Officers and non-vocational officers of the University having minimum experience of five year and M.Phil from other Universities)

The candidates who have appeared in M.A/M.SC 4th semester/final examination can also apply

Reservation: There shall be 8% reservation for SC/ST categories each and 3% for persons with disabilities

Selection Procedure –

Candidates will be selected on the basis of 50% weightage in the entrance test and 50% weightage in their academic merit at PG level
