As per some viewers IIT JEE is not a tough exam. All viewers are saying that with a full preparation any one may crack this exam. After a good preparation this exam will be cracked. Around 2,500 students appeared for the exam at 8 centres in the city and most walked out of the centres with gloomy faces after the exam. Physics questions were the most difficult. The physics questions took a lot of time as well. There were so many tricky questions as well said by some students. The format of the JEE (Advanced) Paper-1 is more or less like the questions that were asked prior to last year exam. It contained single answer correct type MCQs, multiple answer correct type MCQs and integer answer type MCQs. Two key changes were there. Firstly the partial marking for multiple answers correct has been brought back. Secondly, the paper was more logical than being calculative. In Chemistry overall difficulty level is moderate. There were at least 4 questions which were not at all easy and could easily be mis-interpreted by the students. There were 5 questions from Organic Chemistry, 6 from Inorganic Chemistry and 7 from Physical Chemistry. It would be difficult to score 80 per cent in the chemistry paper. All over the country 1.50 lakh students appeared for the IIT JEE (advanced) examination with over 33,000 from the IIT Madras zone appearing. IIT Madras zone includes Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telengana. Prepare for IIT JEE exam: Understand the structure of the Main exam. Understand the structure of the Advanced exam. Know the topics covered by each test.
