Hello sir, for BPSC exam how to marks will be distributed? Is there any one can provide me detail about the BPSC marks distribution? In BPSC exam only one optional paper is for the main examination of 300 marks. The total marks for the main examination would be now 1020 marks instead of existing 1150. The BPSC is conduct combined exam to fill for various vacancies in Bihar Gov. Mainly Block Development officer and deputy superintendent of police. Total number of vacancy for one exam notification is around 1100, it may vary year to year. The 60-62nd BPSC notification will be notifying in August first week. It will be added 14 new posts, now they are extracting from Bihar SSC. Exam pattern and marks distribution: Exam Pattern : Bihar Public Service Competitive Examination conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) comprises of two successive stages: Preliminary Examination: It is of objective type, which is a qualifying examination. Total Question 150 & Total Marks : 150 Timing : Two Hours Main Examination: It consists of written examination and interview. There are four paper in BPSC mains exam. (1) Hindi (2) General Studies (3) First Optional Paper (4) Second Optional Paper You have to pass first paper (Hindi) with minimum 30 marks. Extra marks in Hindi will not added in total marks. General Studies subject is divided in two papers. There are three sections in both of GS paper. GS paper 1 – Maximum Marks – 200 (Timing - 3 hours) GS paper 2 – Maximum Marks – 200 (Timing - 3 hours) Optional Subject (Any two of the following) Paper-4 (Paper-I of First optional subject), full marks - 200 Paper-5 (Paper-II of First optional subject), full marks - 200 Paper-6 (Paper-I of Second optional subject), full marks - 200 Paper-7 (Paper-II of Second optional subject), full marks - 200 Total makes of BPSC Main exam (Written) : 1200 Last edited by Aakashd; February 4th, 2020 at 11:42 AM. |
