RITES Ltd. has released notification for the recruitment of Graduate Engineer Trainees through GATE 2016 in the disciplines of Civil and Mechanical Engineering.

The application process was held from April 12, 2016 to May 1, 2016.

Position:

Graduate Engineer Trainees in

Mechanical Engineering

Eligibility Criteria:

Full time degree in engineering with at least 60% in aggregate

SC/ST/PWD candidates need have passed their qualifying degree with a minimum of 55%

Final year students are eligible to apply

Age Limit:

A minimum age of 21 years and a maximum age of 30 years

Candidates must have qualified in GATE 2016.

Selection Criteria:

Candidates have to clear GATE 2016

Qualified candidates shall be short-listed category-wise for Group Discussion & Personal Interview

The final merit list shall be prepared as per following weightage distribution:

GATE Score (Out of 100) - 85%
Group Discussion - 3%
Interview - 12%

Pay Scale and Remuneration:

Candidates will be placed in the IDA pay scale of Rs.20600-46500 during the training period with starting basic pay of Rs.20600/-.

On successful completion of training and passing the examination, the candidates will be engaged as Assistant Manager in IDA pay – scale of Rs.20600-46500 on probation for a period of 2 years.

After successful completion of training period and confirmation, candidates shall be engaged as Assistant Manager in IDA pay – scale of Rs.20600-46500, and would be paid all benefits due.

The approximate emoluments after confirmation as Assistant Manager shall be 10 lakhs per annum.
