Take Home Salary In ONGC

I have completed my PG degree and want to apply in ONGC searching for salary detail. Will you please tell Basic structure of pay and how much salary I will take home in doing job in ONGC also provide details about the extra and other benefits provided so that I decide to join or not?

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited is an Indian multinational oil and gas company headquartered in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.

Pay scale in ONGC:

Once you get promoted to job group B, your basic becomes Rs 29,100.

So, Basic - 29100

DA - 113% of Basic (as of now, keeps changing) = 32000

Other allowance (Tranport + other monthly allowance + HRA) - 60% of basic = 17500 (This includes HRA of X class city, actually the allowance comes to around 65% and I have taken it on lower side)

Tax deduction (including income tax, PF and gratuity) - around 15000

Net in hand salary - Rs 63,600

Also, if you are on sales, you will be given additional DA for travelling every month. It comes to around 5k to 15k.

So, including all, you will get around 72k in hand in a month.

Other benefits given:

Apart From these extra facilities are given:
1) Laptop and accessory 55k/-

200/- per month is deducted for these.
(Buying laptop earns you 12k for broadband every year ).

After 4 years you have to buy it @ of depreciated value. ( i.e 1% of purchased value )

2) Mobile phone 9k/- (For A0 grade ) and 10K/- ( For A grade )

No amount is deducted form salary for this facility.
After 3 years value of phone is depreciated fully and you don't have to give any money to keep you phone.

700/- per month, reimbursement is done for your phone bill.( official mobile no. )

3) Furniture worth 70k/-(For A0 grade ) and 80k/-( For A grade ).

70/- & 80/- per month for A0 and A grade respectively , is deducted for these facility.

After 7 years you have to buy it @ depreciated value. ( approx it comes to 7% to 10% ).

4) 100% medical Reimbursement for you and your dependent.( In nominated hospitals like Apollo, MAX, and many more. )
